Bilawal regrets mention of generals in speeches
KARACHI:
With the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) all set to stage a rally to mark the 13th anniversary of Karsaz blasts on Sunday (today), Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday said that his party was not in the favour of taking names of army generals at gatherings as it could affect their morale, regretting the mentioning of their names in both the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s Friday gathering and Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speeches.
Bilawal visited Bagh-e-Jinnah – the venue for hosting the PDM’s second power show on Sunday (today) – where he received a briefing from Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and provincial minister Saeed Ghani on the arrangements for the rally.
